| Chairman of Horseracing Authority establishes scholarship to support MBA students |

The FINANCIAL -- Founder and Chairman of asset management company NewSmith Capital Partners and Chairman of the British Horseracing Authority, Paul Roy, has established a scholarship scheme for two full-time MBA degrees for UK students entering the University of Liverpool in 2012.
According to University of Liverpool, the scholarship will provide two students with a fully-funded place on the University’s MBA full-time programme, which runs over one year. The programme is designed to offer high-level management and leadership development in an innovative and relevant format. Widely regarded as the gold standard in executive development, the MBA is aimed at people who want to make significant changes to their career and take on more strategic leadership roles.
