Barclays appoints new Head of Cash Management for US

The FINANCIAL -- Barclays has appointed Lincoln Fritz as Head of Cash Management US within its corporate banking team, a new role based in New York.

At Barclays, Lincoln will be responsible for driving the delivery of cash management services to multi-national companies, non-bank financial institutions, and large local US corporates, as well as delivering local solutions for internationally active corporates in the US.

Possessing over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Lincoln joins Barclays from HSBC Bermuda Ltd where he was Head of Payments and Cash Management, responsible for the management and build out of the business. As Barclays said, Lincoln has also held various cash management roles with HSBC US, JP Morgan, and Chemical Bank, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in building and sustaining a strong and profitable business.

Lincoln Fritz’s appointment further strengthens Barclays growing local corporate and transaction banking presence, and together with the bank’s leading investment banking operations, reinforces Barclays’ strategy of significant growth and commitment in the US.

Commenting on his appointment, Lincoln Fritz said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Barclays and I look forward to leveraging the strength of the bank’s global platform and brand to deliver superior cash management solutions to our US and international clients.”
