In 2011 Russia harvested 92 mln tonnes of the grain

The FINANCIAL -- According to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Petrikov in 2011 the grain production in clear weight totaled 92 mln tonnes.

The stated volume is enough in order to satisfy the country grain demands and to resume export potential, which in this year may reach 25 mln tones.

Some of the crop faced the record harvested volumes. The maize and wheat production totaled 6 mln tonnes, added the Deputy Minister.

Thus, in 2011 plant growing branch recovered after the last year drought and provided the fulfillment of the key indicators of the grain food security.
