The FINANCIAL -- The severe drought of 2010 was replaced by rather favorable 2011, which is in accordance with the dominating regional scenario of interchange of anomaly weather seasons.

The experts of the Kazakhstan research institute of ecology and climate of agrometeorology department noted that in 2012 grain yield level will be at the average annual level for the last 5 years.

Taking into account the rising trend in the level and efficiency of cultivation of grain crops and if the current sowing areas will save the same level  the grain general production in Kazakhstan in 2012 is expected at the level of 21±3 mln tonnes.

The usual variations of the grain average yield in Kazakhstan total 2-2.5 times, for example in 2010 general grain production totaled 12.2 mln tonnes, 2011 – nearly 29 mln tonnes. This causes the essential volatility of the export potential of the grain: 2010 – 6 mln tonnes, 2011 – 15 mln tonnes.
