Unemployment still high in U.S. despite good signs - Obama

The FINANCIAL -- WASHINGTON, Unemployment rates in the United States are still high despite certain signs that the country's economy is reviving, President Barack Obama said.

Obama said in an interview with CNN aired Sunday: "The jobs picture is not going to improve considerably, and it could even get a little bit worse, over the next couple of months."

 

The unemployment rate in the U.S. now stands at 9.6%, but experts say it could grow to 10%.
