The FINANCIAL -- The official MOSCOW hopes to establish pragmatic cooperation with Ukraine .
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov gave the position of Russia at a meeting with Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko in MOSCOW (Russia).
"We hope that the understanding and the cooperation will bring pragmatism and will help settle all questions of the bilateral relations. Russia is prepared for this," Lavrov said.
Russia also hopes not only for the improvement of the bilateral cooperation, but also for the cooperation with Ukraine on the international arena.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko has said Ukraine is prepared to restart a comprehensive dialogue with Russia.
On Friday morning, Poroshenko left for MOSCOW to meet with the leaders of Russia.
In early October, President Viktor Yuschenko of Ukraine failed to meet with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during a meeting of the heads of states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Chisinau (Moldova).
The official MOSCOW has said the appointment of Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko will help improvement of the cooperation between the foreign ministry of Ukraine and the foreign ministry of Russia.
