The FINANCIAL -- According to Civil Georgia, President Saakashvili participated in the summit of European People’s Party (EPP), which was held in Brussels on October 29, the party’s website reported.
The ruling party in Georgia, United National Movement, led by President Saakashvili , is an observer member of EPP.
On the sideline of the summit Saakashvili met with Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy.
