Nine Business Organizations create an Alliance

The FINANCIAL -- At the initiative of the International Chamber of Commerce ICC-Georgia, nine business organizations have signed Memorandum of Understanding to join force in order to better serve their goals and objectives and to secure a stable business environment in the country; the signatories are:  International Chamber of Commerce ICC-Georgia;  Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Association of Banks of Georgia;   Association of Oil Importers and Distributors; French Business Council; International Association of Business and Parliament/ IABP; American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia; Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business;  Association of Freight Forwarders of Georgia.


"The Alliance will hold regular consultations with the Government of Georgia aiming to find proper solutions to the challenges that businesses are facing and to secure a proper implementation of the successful reforms, so to revive and improve the business and investment climates and insure stability in the country," ICC-Georgia announced.


Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Nick Gilauri attended the signing ceremony and expressed the Government support for the consolidation of the business community. After the signing ceremony Prime Minister briefed businesses of the current economic situation and of the Government strategy to help businesses and the economy.


Business people attending the meeting have actively interacted with Prime Minister and informed him of the challenges they are facing and their insight as how to help solving those challenges.
