| The Georgian Entrepreneurs Confederation Carrying out New Projects |

Recently one more significant project has been initiated by the Georgian Confederation of Entrepreneurs. The document about fraternization of Batumi and Kushadasi was signed on March 5, 2010 by Mayors of these cities in Kushadasi municipality. Priority issues of cooperation were identified.
Sharing experience over these issues will significantly help Batumi municipality in further progress in harmony with its planned development strategy. Robert Chkhaidze, Mayor of Batumi invited Kushdasi delegation to Batumi on return visit, during of which the Memorandum of cooperation will be signed. According to Mamuka Skhvitaridze, President of the Georgian Entrepreneurs Confederation, this event is one more real example of cooperation between the government and the business sector.
Aimed at popularization of Georgian business opportunities the Georgian House will be opened in Kushadasi in 2010, which along with the range of cultural events will host presentations of Georgian investment projects and enhance partnering between Georgian and Turkish so as international businesses.
The Georgian Confederation of Entrepreneurs is the full member of the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises (UBCCE). At the UBCCE General Assembly on March 12, 2010 its member organizations expressed their commitment to visit Georgia and familiarize with its business opportunities on spot. For this purpose the Georgian Confederation of Entrepreneurs is organizing a business forum that will be attended by representatives of business associations and private companies from the Black and Caspian Sea Regions.
The Georgian Confederation of Entrepreneurs (GEC) was established in 2008 with the goal to support its member companies in developing in step with dynamics of the world and local markets, establishing contacts with local and international investors and implementing effective business projects consistent with modern requirements. GEC partners are foreign and international companies interested in the Georgian market that necessitate regularly updated information and real contacts. GEC Strategic objectives are supporting economic growth of the state, improving employment level and contributing to establishment of business-friendly environment in the country.
