At IBC 2010 (F30, Hall 1), Motorola is blending content and context to deliver a new era of home and mobile entertainment.

"Being demonstrated live for the first time in Europe is Motorola Medios, the company's multi-screen service management software suite that seamlessly integrates web and walled-garden content and powers compelling IP video delivery to set-tops, PCs and mobile devices over both managed and unmanaged networks. With Medios, Motorola's evolutionary approach to service management software, Motorola is adding to its existing portfolio of products, allowing service providers to better manage video assets, security, monetization, service assurance and enhanced personalized experiences," Motorola informs.

Motorola is also showcasing the new Motorola M3 Media Server family. A flexible and scalable solution for meeting the growing demands for content anytime, the family of on-demand servers is designed to deliver multimedia content and services across TV, PC and mobile devices. The M3 Media Server family is offered as part of the Motorola Media Delivery System, which also includes the Motorola CPS-1000 Content Propagation System for cable and Maestro content delivery network (CDN) management system for over-the-top (OTT) Internet video and IPTV environments.

"We're inviting visitors to IBC to come behind the screen to see how Motorola can efficiently deliver content into the home, around the home and outside the home too. We're excited about showing our customers how the management of content across a network can be simplified and how the customer experience can be truly customized across any screen," comments Steve McCaffery, vice president and general manager, Home business EMEA, Motorola Mobility.

Visitors to Motorola's stand will also experience how Motorola is moving from simply enabling 3DTV towards making 3DTV a compelling home experience. 3DTV is shown on Motorola's industry leading KreaTV(TM) application platform for IPTV set-tops with automatic configuration of the 3D format and adaption of on-screen text and graphics.

Finally, as well as its next-generation video headend including advanced encoding, Motorola will show an array of its latest set-tops, accessories, modems and gateways, both VDSL and fiber.
