The FINANCIAL -- Experts say the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko does not have realistic opportunities to cancel the results of the run-off vote of February 7 at courts.
"This case has no prospects, since the presidential elections have been recognized transparent, open and democratic by European observers and data of all exit-polls have confirmed the results of the preliminary vote count," said Kost Bondarenko, the head of the Kyiv Institute of Management after Horshenin.
In his opinion, the best possible achievement of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko can be the re-count of votes at certain polling stations and some constituencies, but this won't change the final results of the run-off vote in favor of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"The appeals against the results of the elections will be lost at courts, since courts and the Prosecutor General's Office are on the side of Yanukovych and Tymoshenko will lose," said Viktor Nebozhenko, the director of the Ukrainian Barometer sociologist service.
He also believes that the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko can achieve no more than re-count of votes at some polling stations.
"I don't think this is a promising idea. It will be hard for the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko to cancel the results of the elections at courts... This needs to be done for conscience' sake, but this won't change the result," said Vadym Karasiov, the director of the Global Strategies Institute.
He doubts the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko has enough influence on courts.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko is intending to seek canceling the results of the run-off vote at courts.
The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko believes that vote rigging gave Party of Regions Faction Leader Viktor Yanukovych at least 1 million votes in Donetsk region, Luhansk region, and Crimea.
On February 7, the second round of the presidential elections took place in Ukraine .
