The FINANCIAL -- The Kyiv-based BAKOTEK Company has become a distributor software of the Quest Software Company (the United States) on the Ukrainian market.

Yevhen Badakh, the director of the BAKOTEK Company, announced this at a press conference at press center of the Ukrainian News information agency.

"The signing of the contract is important to BAKOTEK, since the company is an associated distributor of Microsoft and actively promotes its solutions... The products of Quest allows painless migration from other platforms to the Microsoft technologies and makes the technologies more accessible," he said.

He said the conclusion of the distribution agreement between BALOTEK and the Quest Software Company is the continuation of the cooperation which started in 2009.

Per-Gunner Ostby, developing market economies director of Quest Software, said in his turn that the company used to consider the Ukrainian market as not being a priority one, as there was no reliable partner on the market. However, BAKOTEK has become the exclusive distributor of the company in Ukraine .

It is expected that the products for optimization of IT infrastructure on the base of Microsoft technologies will be basic solutions offered on the Ukrainian market within the said distribution agreement.

Special attention will be paid to products for developing, diagnostics and optimization of databases that are actively used by Ukrainian companies.

Quest Software Inc. is a large company operating in the field of IT Management at enterprises. It provides innovative instruments allowing enterprises to increase productivity and safety of applications, databases of Windows and virtual infrastructure.

The turnover of the company in 2009 is estimated at nearly USD 700 million.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the BAKOTEK Company is the distributor of license software. The company's partner network includes over 750 companies.
