| President Yanukovych Favours Constitutional Reform |

The FINANCIAL -- President Viktor Yanukovych favours the idea of reforming the constitution, he said to Inter TV channel during its programme Podrobnosti Nedeli (Week Details) on March 7.
"In the last five years we saw the whole country circumambulating this constitution, which had been hastily passed in late 2004. I reckon, our future depends on how we shall find a possibility, political will to change this constitution, the one that resulted in so much negative for us," the president said.
He also spoke for broadening the anti-corruption legislation to effectively fight corruption.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, experts doubt the constitutional reform will take place under Yanukovych.
On February 10, while running for president Yanukovych said he would take time to implement the constitutional reform.
