The FINANCIAL -- The Cabinet of Ministers does not intend to increase the pension age, Vice Prime Minister for Economy Serhii Tihipko told the ICTV TV channel on March 15.
"Today, increase of the women's pension age is the last thing worth thinking of. We do not plan to do that. However, it is possible to limit the ceiling level of pensions with 10-12 minimum ones," Tihipko said.
At the same time, the vice prime minister said it is necessary to study the issue of privileged retirement.
"There are people retiring being only 38-40 years old. Is not it too early?," Tihipko said.
He also said that the government will consider this issue.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, President Viktor Yanukovych opposes the increase of pension age limit.
