Ukraine increased production of nitrogenous fertilizers by 20%

The FINANCIAL -- During January-February of 2010, enterprises of the chemical industry of Ukraine increased production volumes of mineral and chemical nitrogenous fertilizers by 20% compared to the same period of 2009 – to the level of 401 thsd tonnes, declared the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine .

According to the announcement, in February 2010, production of nitrogenous fertilizers in Ukraine grew by 0.7% compared to February 2009, and down 9.2% compared to January 2010, and totaled 191 thsd tonnes.
