| High growth of agricultural production in Ukraine |

The FINANCIAL -- During January-February of 2010, the growth of volumes of agriculture production in Ukraine totaled 5.2%, which became one of the highest indices compared to the same periods of 2001-2009, at the same time, agricultural enterprises of the country increased agricultural production by 12.4%, economies of the population decreased the index by 0.8%, declared Bogdan Danilishyn, the ex-Minister of Economics of Ukraine , on March 17.
According to him, the average index of growth of the agro industrial complex formed the level of 2.7% beginning from 2001.
Due to the seasonal character of plant growing production, during January-February period of 2010, animal husbandry formed the whole gross volume of agricultural production volumes.
