The FINANCIAL -- The UN Global Compact convened its second Regional Meeting for Focal Points of Global Compact Local Networks in Africa today in Lagos, Nigeria.

The FINANCIAL -- A workshop co-organized by the World Bank Institute, the UN Global Compact and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) brought together business leaders and the focal points of Global Compact Local Networks in Africa to discuss practical collective action tools and strategies to counter corruption in business operations.

The FINANCIAL -- Nearly 200 business, government and civil society representatives from 19 African countries participating in a pan-Africa business anti-corruption conference in Lagos this week have declared that business is taking a stand against corruption through collective action.
