(NYSE: RHT) today becoming the newest component of the S&P 500, the 411 New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) listed companies represent over 82% of the S&P 500 and approximately $7 trillion in global market capitalization, more than four times that of Nasdaq OMX, which has 89 listed companies in the S&P 500 with a combined market capitalization of approximately $1.7 trillion.
