IBM Ranks #1 on Climate Change Strategies in Ceres Report

The FINANCIAL -- IBM (NYSE: IBM) was on December 11 named the top company for climate change strategy and practices, in a report released by the Ceres investor coalition. The report issued today analyzes climate change governance practices at 63 of the world's largest retail, pharmaceutical, technology, apparel and other consumer-facing companies.

The new study shows that over the last two years in China, distrust with food retailers and manufacturers has grown even more than it has in the United States (U.S.) and United Kingdom (UK). The study, titled "Full Value Traceability," examines Chinese consumer values and confidence related to food and product safety.
