The FINANCIAL — On the afternoon of December 23, an inaugural ceremony of Xi’an-Sidney Route newly opened by Hainan Airlines was held at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport.
Xi’an-Sidney route is the first international route in Northwest China directly reaching to Oceania. It is also the third international route launched by Hainan Airlines this month following the routes of Xi’an-Rome and Xi’an-Tokyo, according to Xi’an Xianyang International Airport.
The flights on this route are numbered with HU7993/4 and the aircraft type used is A330. There are two flights on every Wednesday and Sunday. It departs from Xi’an at 17:10 local time and arrives at Sidney at 07:20 the next day; the return flight departs from Sidney at 10:15 and arrives at Xi’an at 18:35.
Hainan Airlines also opened Xi’an-Tokyo route on the morning of December 23. The flights are numbered with HU7927/8 and the aircraft type used is B737. There are 3 flights on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The flight departs from Xi’an at 08:35 local time and lands at Tokyo at 12:25; the return flight departs from Tokyo at 13:25 and arrives at Xi’an at 17:20.
