Credit Suisse Appoints Jon Kinol as Global Head of Interest Rate Products

The FINANCIAL -- Credit Suisse is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Kinol as Global Head of Interest Rate Products, effective May 2010.

In this new role, Mr. Kinol will oversee the Bank’s global interest rates activities. He will be based in New York.

 

Gaël de Boissard, Co-Head of Global Securities at Credit Suisse, said, “We are delighted Jon is joining Credit Suisse. He brings a wealth of talent and experience to our interest rates team. He will be a key asset to the team as we continue to increase our global footprint and market share across our interest rate businesses.”

 

Mr. Kinol said, “I am pleased to be joining Credit Suisse at a time when the bank has demonstrated significant momentum in its rates and fixed income franchise. I look forward to joining the team and further driving the bank’s growth in rates.”

 

Mr. Kinol joins Credit Suisse from Deutsche Bank, where he led several of the bank’s fixed income businesses over the past 18 years, most recently as Head of Rates in North America. Previously, he was Global Head of Deutsche’s Fixed Income Algorithmic business and its Fixed Income Proprietary Trading team. He also served as Global Head of Correlation Trading.
