| PNC Opens New Public Finance Office In Michigan, Creates Dedicated Transportation Group |

The FINANCIAL -- PNC Capital Markets announced on March 9 the expansion of its Public Finance Group with the opening of a new office in Grand Rapids, Mich. to provide investment banking services for state and local government entities as well as non-profit health care and higher education institutions.
PNC Capital Markets also announced the creation of a specialized team focused on public transportation projects, such as toll roads and bridges, Airport s, and mass transit systems.
Anton Colon will head up the Grand Rapids public finance office. Colon has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He joined PNC as a director of PNC Capital Markets in September of 2009. Prior to joining PNC Capital Markets, he worked in corporate finance for National City Bank.
The transportation group will be led by John B. Kelly, managing director at PNC Capital Markets. Kelly holds a bachelor of science degree in economics from Harvard University, and has over 28 years of experience, of which 15 years have been dedicated to public finance and transportation.
PNC ranks in the top ten in lead managed transactions across its 13-state footprint which includes DE, FL, IL, IN, KY, MD, MI, MO, NJ, OH, PA, VA, WI, as well as Washington, DC.
