Specially designed to work with the most commonly used smartphones in Luxembourg, this mobile version of the bank's Web Banking lets clients consult account balances and transactions, order transfers, track securities portfolios and even conduct simulations for personal loans – all from their mobile phone.

BGL BNP Paribas ' launch of the first mobile phone banking solution compatible with LuxTrust security systems (both Token and SMS), reflects its ambition to be a pioneer in Luxembourg for mobile banking services. Also available: CashPoints, a free iPhone application that identifies the nearest cash distributor for users anywhere in Luxembourg, along with a handy list of all BGL BNP Paribas branch offices, including address, map and opening hours.

These new remote banking options are available 24/7 at www.bgl.lu. To celebrate the launch of Mobile Banking and its campaign for jobstarters, BGL BNP Paribas is pleased to announce a special draw for clients aged 18 to 29: enter this competition via Mobile Banking or Web Banking, and you may win one of four iPhones.

Nico - As deceiving as their webbanki

BGL Bnp (ex Fortis) has a old fashionned webbanking website.

I'm not talking about the layout/design or web technologies, but if you transfer money between 2 of your accounts, it become unavailable for 24 hours, to be able to use it from the 2nd account.

So if you want to pay a bill and need to take some money from another account, you have to do it during 2 days ....

Does mobile banking will help that ?
