The FINANCIAL -- Georgian financial services providers TBC Bank and BTA Bank have signed agreements with Swedish supplier of smartcard-based authentication products Todos.

Under the terms of the deal, Todos is set to provide the banks with online banking authentication devices and back-end servers for improved internet banking security.

TBC Bank is set to deploy the company’s Todos’s ezToken devices, while BTA Bank will also deploy the ezToken product suite, as well as the ezToken PIN products. The Todos VAS Server’s ability to support different devices and multiple devices per user means that BTA can deploy both and provide customers with an upgrade path.
