The FINANCIAL -- Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev has signed a decree conferring the title of “Merited Worker of the Russian Federation Oil & Gas Industry” on the general director of TNK-Uvat, a subsidiary of TNK-BP.
According to TNK-BP, Andrey Rublev has spent over 25 years in the West Siberian oil industry, working his way up from well workover preparation operator to head of production company. He currently heads TNK-BP’s TNK-Uvat subsidiary, which operates the Uvat project – one of the biggest in Russia today. Under Rublev’s management, a huge amount of feasibility work has been carried out and the Urnenskoe, Ust-Tegusskoe and Tyamkinskoe fields at Uvat have been brought on stream.
