The FINANCIAL -- Sofitel London Heathrow is celebrating after being named Best International Airport Hotel at the 2011 Australian Business Traveller Awards, according to Caterer and Hotelkeeper.

The hotel's location, the standard of its food and beverage facilities and the bedroom quality - including soundproof system - were key factors that helped the hotel secure the title.

Commenting on the awards, Australian Business Traveller journalist John Walton said that Airport hotels weren't easy to get right.

The Australian Business Traveller Awards are judged by an independent panel of business travellers and frequent flyers plus the Australian Business Traveller team.

The FINANCIAL -- Serbian president-elect Tomistlav Nikolic will make Brussels his first official visit after he takes office in the coming weeks, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak told media Thursday.
