Marriott International Named Top Employer in China

The FINANCIAL -- Marriott International,has been named one of “China’s Top Employers 2012” by the CRF Institute. It is the only hotel management company in the winners list, according to Marriott International.

The 32 award winners including Marriott International have been selected from a pool of more than 920 organizations based on the results of a thorough research and evaluation process.  According to the CRF Institute, these companies are recognized for their outstanding performance in various aspects of human resources such as employee benefits, corporate culture and talent development.

Currently Marriott International manages approximately 60 hotels and employs 15,500 associates in China. Its portfolio will increase to 100 hotels by 2015, making it be one of the largest hotel groups in this country.                    

 

Marriott International has long been acclaimed as a great place to work in the international arena. It makes the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list of FORTUNE Magazine’s annual ranking every year since it was launched in 1998. It has also been recognized by several prominent publications including Working Mother, DiversityInc and LATINA Style magazines.
