Aeroflot Airlines Becomes Marriott Rewards Newest Partner

The FINANCIAL -- Members Can Earn Airline Miles for Stays at 3,600 Marriott International Hotels. Marriott Rewards members can now earn Aeroflot Bonus miles on Aeroflot Airlines when they stay at 3,600 Marriott International hotels around the world, according to Marriott International Hotels.

Marriott Rewards now offers members the choice of 34 airline programs in which they can earn miles for hotels stays. Aeroflot, the leader of Russia’s air fleet, is a member of SkyTeam, the global airline alliance. Aeroflot’s overall flight network comprises 898 locations in 169 countries.  Aeroflot operates one of the youngest air fleets in Europe that consists of 101 aircraft. Aeroflot’s hub is Sheremetyevo international Airport in MOSCOW .

 

Aeroflot Bonus members can redeem miles for travel awards, either for themselves or for their family and friends; redeem miles for cabin class upgrade, earn a minimum of 500 miles for every flight with Aeroflot; earn additional miles when they fly Business Class; earn miles with Aeroflot Bonus partners; redeem miles for special awards from program partners; receive Aeroflot Bonus Service Center’s full range of member services. 

 

Aeroflot members who attain Elite member status are entitled to premium services such as, priority check-in; entrance to First and Business class passenger lounges; free extra luggage allowances; and 25 percent or 50 percent extra tier bonus miles.

Marriott continues to expand its presence in Russia.  Recent openings include the Courtyard Irkutsk City Center and Courtyard MOSCOW Paveletskaya.  The company currently has 14 properties throughout Russia.

Marriott Rewards has no blackout dates and members can earn and redeem points at 3,600 Marriott International hotels around the world.  In addition to hotels and frequent flyer miles, members can also redeem points for merchandise, cruises, car rentals and more.

Marriott Rewards won the 2011 and 2010 Frequent Travel Award and 2009 Freddie Award for “Best Hotel Rewards Program,” and has been named best hotel rewards program by the readers of Business Traveler, Global Traveler, Executive Travel and BusinessWeek magazines.
