According to Caterer and Hotelkeeper, the three-year deal, with an option to extend to five years, will see the boutique operator take over from the in-house team, with a permanent staff of 20 expected to transfer to Harbour & Jones under TUPE from 6 February.

Harbour & Jones will operate the Gerard Bar, exclusively for use by RSA Fellows, as well as the Vaults public restaurant. It will also cater for all events at RSA House, including conferences, lectures and meetings, canapé parties, private dinners and weddings.

RSA House is expected to unveil a major renovation project at the House at the end of June, which will see the original Adam brothers' architecture recreated in a contemporary way by Matthew Lloyd architects, restoring the building's original Georgian splendour.
