Leon restaurant to open at King's Cross station

The FINANCIAL -- The Autogrill Group, together with its subsidiary HMSHost, has entered a new relationship with Leon Restaurants, to launch a branch of Leon at the redeveloped King's Cross station in London.

According to Caterer and Hotelkeeper, set to open in mid-March, the partnership marks the entry of Autogrill Group and HMSHost into the UK's Network Rail system as well as Leon's first-ever location within a railway station.

 

The redevelopment of King's Cross Station includes a new concourse, which opens next month. Other operators to open at the station include Giraffe, Yalla Yalla, Benito's Hat, Prezzo and pub operator Fuller's.

Autogrill is a provider of food and beverage and retail services for travellers. Present in 35 countries with approximately 62,500 employees, it manages more than 5,300 points of sale in over 1,200 locations.
