The FINANCIAL -- Czech Airlines’ subsidiary ČSA Support, s.r.o., has changed its name to Czech Airlines Handling, s.r.o. The new name was inscribed in the Commercial Registry effective 25 February 2010.
Czech Airlines brought its handling services together into one company in January 2010. This was done when passenger and aircraft handling were transferred to Czech Airlines’ existing subsidiary ČSA Support. In a separate commercial entity, these ground activities now constitute a logical unit and yield a number of advantages. Among other things, the change makes the costs and revenue from the activity concerned more transparent, and opened up room for an increase in the overall efficiency. In addition, business partners welcomed this step, for whom the operations of the company are now more intelligible.
Czech Airlines Handling remains a subsidiary of Czech Airlines. It provides comprehensive services which can continue to rely on the experience and backing of its parent company.
Today, the important customers of Czech Airlines Handling include partners from the SkyTeam Alliance operating to/from Prague, including Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, Aeroflot, Korean Air, as well as other companies, such as CAI, Lufthansa , Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, SAS – Scandinavian Airline System, Malev, Finnair, Aerosvit, China Airlines-Cargo, and Luxair.
