18th IPRM meeting takes place in Dvani

The FINANCIAL -- The 18th IPRM meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism took place in Dvani today. The meeting was co-facilitated by the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia and the OSCE.

Participants reviewed recent incidents and detentions. There was also a discussion about safety measures to deal with the possible presence of mines in the vicinity of the Administrative Boundary Line. The Special Representative of the incoming Irish OSCE Chairmanship, Ambassador Pádraig Murphy, was introduced to the participants.

It was agreed that the next meeting will take place on 24 January 2012.

The FINANCIAL -- Serbian president-elect Tomistlav Nikolic will make Brussels his first official visit after he takes office in the coming weeks, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak told media Thursday.
