Polish nightclub guard whacks off client's hand with saber

The FINANCIAL -- WARSAW. A nightclub security guard in Poland's Krakow chopped off a client's hand using a saber, a spokesman for the regional police said on March 15, according to RIA Novosti.

The spokesman said police authorities arrived at the nightclub early on Monday morning after a alarm went off and saw two men running out of the building with one of them attacking the other and chopping off his hand.

He said the 27-year-old man was immediately hospitalized, while police are trying to find out why the 33-year-old guard attacked the client.

"The detained guard refuses to testify," he said.
