French Consumer Confidence Steady in December

The FINANCIAL -- French consumer confidence was stable in December for the third consecutive month, statistics showed on January 6, belying concerns that the November terror attacks would rattle households in the eurozone's second- largest economy, according to Nasdaq.

Consumer confidence measured by Insee was stable at 96 in December. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal had forecast a one point decline to 95.
