The FINANCIAL -- On 14 July 2015, newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia Bettina Cadenbach presented copies of her credentials to Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili.
At the meeting held after the ceremony Tamar Beruchashvili congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment and wished her success in her future endeavours. The Georgian Foreign Minister underlined the need to enhance close friendly and partner relations and to develop co-operation between Georgia and Germany in various directions. In this context, Tamar Beruchashvili and Bettina Cadenbach also underlined the need to exchange high-level visits and to mark the establishment of Georgian-German friendship in 2017. The particular importance of Georgia’s participation in Frankfurt Book Fair 2018.
Besides bilateral relations, talking points also included Russia’s destructive actions along the occupation line, general situation in Georgia’s occupied territories and current issues regarding Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
