The FINANCIAL -- "We may have to impose restrictions on electricity supply if processes continue as they have been", - “ENERGO PRO Georgia” Deputy Director General Mikheil Botsvadze said.
According to him, the project presented by the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission with regard to tariff correction is totally unacceptable.
“This will destroy yet another successful energy company. We are in a crisis to the extent that we are considering an immediate departure from the country. Today our cost on electricity is 10.5 tetris, while we have to sell it 7.3 tetris. Our loss is tens of millions of GEL. We cannot endure this,” - he said and added that the company will appeal against the Regulatory Commission’s decision in court, according to InterPressNews.
According to Botsvadze, the company has not made any profit for the last two years.
