The FINANCIAL -- On 21 October 2015, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze met the members of the youth wing of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, according to MFA of Georgia.
Delegation consisting of 18 members is paying unofficial training visit to Georgia on 20-25 October 2015 to familiarise themselves with domestic political situation in the country, with foreign policy priorities and with economic and cultural situation. It should be noted that young Christian-Democrats, within the training programmes, annually visit one of the Eastern European countries. This year they visited Georgia.
Gigi Gigiadze thanked the young Christian-Democrats for visiting Georgia and for taking interest in the country’s foreign policy, focused on Georgia’s foreign policy priorities and in this context underlined that Georgia strongly adheres to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration course. Discussions also focused on the current situation in Georgia’s occupied territories and on relations with the neighbouring countries.
The Deputy Foreign Minister answered the questions asked by the German guests.
