Import Price Index in Georgia decreased by 0.8 percent

The FINANCIAL -- The Import Price Index (MPI) decreased by 0.8 percent over the previous month, while compared to April 2017 the index increased by 8.0 percent.

The prices increased by 8.5 percent for manufactured products and by 4.1 percent for the products from mining and quarrying. In terms of electrical energy, gas, steam and hot water the prices increased by 17.2 percent, according to GeoStat.
