The FINANCIAL -- One of the major priorities of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is minimization of government regulation in the agricultural sector, including the sphere of land use, declared Volodymyr Lapa, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, on May 28, during the round table discussion “Grain market development in terms of the new agrarian policy” within the international conference "Grain Forum & Maritime days in Odessa -2015".
According to him, the Ministry plans to actuate the process of self-organization of land owners to restore irrigation and develop agricultural infrastructure.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy plans to accelerate implementation of agricultural receipts, based on the experience of the pilot project in Poltava oblast, and resume lending on warehouse receipts, added the Deputy Minister, according to APK Inform.
V.Lapa said that in the current year, the Ministry plans to adopt a new version of the law on state support of agriculture. In addition, he added that some functions of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to be forwarded to other departments.
