The FINANCIAL — In January-May period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 5.819 mln tonnes of liquid bulk cargoes, including 1.631 mln tonnes of vegetable oils, a decrease of 14.6% compared with the same period in 2014, informed the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on June 4.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 46.61 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 41.7% compared with January-May of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 1.197 mln tonnes (up 1.2%), stevedoring companies at their own berths – 387.88 thsd tonnes (down 40.1%), according to APK Inform.
According to the announcement, in the reporting period Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk shipped 699.14 thsd tonnes of veg oils, up 9.5% compared with the same period in the previous year. Also, Nikolayev Sea Trade Port shipped 436.79 thsd tonnes of veg oils (down 38.8%), Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhny – 424.82 thsd tonnes (up 4.1%), Mariupol Port – 34.3 thsd tonnes (down 41.4%), Odessa Sea Commercial Port – 24.6 thsd tonnes (up 19%), and Izmail Port – 12.31 thsd tonnes (down 42.4%).
