Ukraine: Ministry of Agrarian Policy and grain traders to sign the Memorandum on grain exports after September 20

The FINANCIAL -- The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and grain traders are expected to sign the Memorandum on coordination of grain export volumes in 2015/16 MY after September 20, declared Volodymyr Klymenko, President of Ukrainian Grain Association, on September 3, according to APK Inform.

He said that after September 20, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and traders will have the certain analysis of the qualitative indices of harvested grains.

According to V.Klymenko, Ukraine has very good harvest of wheat. Only corn harvest volumes cause some concern, due adversely influence of the drought in western oblasts of Ukraine.

Also, V.Klymenko informed that since the beginning of MY, Ukraine exported 5.8 mln tonnes of grains, including 2.6 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.9 mln tonnes of barley, and 1.3 mln tonnes of corn.
